It’s an interesting example of a privately owned, public space. Some of the books being shared have a fairly obvious agenda. Others, less so. I like it. I suppose it’s a site of a kind of public discourse. Maybe. It’s also an interesting snapshot of culture – one photo a week of its contents would tell us quite a lot about the neighbourhood. Maybe?
