Kingsley explains how my local library works

This is a throwback to a couple weeks ago when Kingsley Strudwick was nice enough to try to answer all my questions about this little library on my block.

I’ve kinda ignored it until recently. It’s an interesting example of a privately owned, public space. Some of the books being shared have a fairly obvious agenda. Others, less so. I like it.

I suppose it’s a site of a kind of public discourse. Maybe. It’s also an interesting snapshot of culture – one photo a week of its contents would tell us quite a lot about the neighbourhood. Maybe?
